New York soul group El Michel's Affair teams up with fellow Big Crown signee Bobby Oroza on heartwarming new A-side 'Reasons'. Big Crown leave behind the current industry's style of slowly drip-releasing songs, dropping the brass-heavy B-side 'Hipps' simultaneously, which enables them to work in the antiquated sentiments of vinyl loving into their modern day releases. Beautifully intricate guitar picking opens 'Reasons', leading to a peaceful sea of soft and soulful singing from Bobby Oroza, and the signature Big Crown motown-inspired brass parts and drum pattern.
